The Rotary Club of James City County is dedicated to community service, personal and professional growth, fellowship and fun in Williamsburg, Virginia! Whether you’re a current member, a local resident looking to get involved, or a visitor hoping to meet Rotarians in the area, we hope you’ll join us for projects and events throughout the year.
Rotarians provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Club MEetings
Note: our club calendar of local and area Rotary events can be found via the Menu.
Breakfast Group meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays at 7 AM at the Rivers Edge Restaurant (formerly Elements 1010) in the Kingsmill Conference Center.
Evening Group meets the second Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Riverside Doctors Hospital conference room just off the lobby.
Club social events with both groups are held on the fourth Wednesdays. The venue rotates to different locations around Williamsburg.

October 7th, Wednesday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker is the JCC Chief Parole Officer.
October 14th, Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Evening group meeting at Riverside Hospital Conference Room. Speaker Battalion Chief of EMS talking about AED drone capabilities.
October 17th, Saturday. From 08:50 am to about 10:30 AM, join us for the Veterans Park Cleanup. Bringing work gloves is recommended. Guests are welcome, bring friends and family!
October 21st, Wednesday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker is Chris Johnson, James City County Director of Economic Development.

October 24th – World Polio Day - World Polio Day | End Polio.
October 28th, Wednesday evening 6 PM. Our club monthly social gathering at The Hound’s Tale. We will be raising funds for World Polio Day in association with our monthly social. Join us to End Polio Now!!
October 30th – Literacy for Life, Reading between the Wines event - Reading Between the Wines | Wine Fundraiser for Literacy for Life at W&M Alumni House.
November is shaping up to be another busy month! Here are some activities to get on your calendar:
Early November: Third Grade Dictionary Project – Help distribute dictionaries to local third-graders! Reach out to Pete if you can help: pkokolis@cox.net.
November 6–8: Rotary District 7600 Conference. Sign up via DACdb.
November 7: Veterans Day flag setup at Veterans Park.
November 9: Flag placement at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Throughout November: Bring donations for our ShoeLady Shoe Drive to our club meetings. Be on the lookout for Salvation Army Bell Ringing Sign-ups as well!
