The Rotary Club of James City County is dedicated to community service, personal and professional growth, fellowship and fun in Williamsburg, Virginia! Whether you’re a current member, a local resident looking to get involved, or a visitor hoping to meet Rotarians in the area, we hope you’ll join us for projects and events throughout the year.
Rotarians provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Our major fundraiser is the September 15th Golf Tournament the Kingsmill River Course. Shotgun start at 1:30 PM with taco bar dinner afterwards. Click here to sign up or become a sponsor!
Club MEetings

Breakfast Group meetings are held the first and third Fridays at 7 AM at the Rivers Edge Restaurant in the Elements Restaurant in the Kingsmill Conference Center.
Evening Group meets the second Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Riverside Doctors Hospital conference room just off the lobby.
Club social events with both groups are held on the fourth Wednesdays. The venue rotates to different locations around Williamsburg.

August 12th, Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Evening group meeting at Riverside Hospital Conference Room. Visit by our new District Governor SuAnne Bryant. Board meeting with DG immediately after the regular meeting.
August 21st, Friday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingsmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. DG SuAnne will visit our morning breakfast group.
August 26th, Wednesday evening 6 PM. Our club monthly social gathering at The Hound’s Tale. Their location is at 5234 Monticello Ave. Join us for great food, lots of fun, and outstanding fellowship at our club social! See you there!
September 4th, Friday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker will be VIMS research Dr Molly Mitchell. VIMS is the Virginia Institute for Marine Science located just across the York River in Gloucester VA.
September 8th, Tuesday. Club Board Meeting via Teams.
September 9th, Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Evening group meeting at Riverside Hospital Conference Room. Speaker TBD.

September 18th, Friday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker will be our own local Congressman Rob Wittman.

October 3rd, The Arc of Greater Williamsburg 5K Run Fundraiser at Williamsburg Landing. Volunteer or form a Rotary team to walk/run the race. 17th Annual Williamsburg Landing 5k Run/Walk for The Arc.
October 22 - 25 Rotary Areas 33/34 Summit, Rotary Revolution at The Lodge at Colonial Williamsburg. All three area clubs are requested to help with this event.
October 24th – World Polio Day - World Polio Day | End Polio.
October 30th – Literacy for Life, Reading between the Wines - Reading Between the Wines | Wine Fundraiser for Literacy for Life at W&M Alumni House.
