The Rotary Club of James City County is dedicated to community service, personal and professional growth, fellowship and fun in Williamsburg, Virginia! Whether you’re a current member, a local resident looking to get involved, or a visitor hoping to meet Rotarians in the area, we hope you’ll join us for projects and events throughout the year.

Club MEetings
Note: for a complete calendar of local and area Rotary events please scroll to the bottom of this page.
Breakfast Group meetings are held the first and third Fridays at 7 AM at the Rivers Edge Restaurant in the Elements Restaurant in the Kingsmill Conference Center.
Evening Group meets the second Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Riverside Doctors Hospital conference room just off the lobby.
Club social events with both groups are held on the fourth Wednesdays. The venue rotates to different locations around Williamsburg.
Upcoming Events
May 1st. Friday morning meeting, 7 AM at Kingsmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker is Ed Harris, President and CEO of Visit Williamsburg.
May 2nd. Saturday morning, Clean the Chesapeake Bay Day service project.
May 9th. Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Sip & Shop at the J. McLaughlin shop in Merchants Square. Benefit to Rotary.
May 13th. Wednesday evening meeting is cancelled due to room unavailability. Try out another Rotary meeting in our area!
May 15th, Friday morning meeting, 7 AM at Kingsmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast. Speaker TBD.
May 19th. Tuesday morning 9 AM (really please show up at 8:45 to get going earlier). Set up our U.S. flag display at Veterans Park. Many hands make light work in setting up this dramatic display.
May 20th, Wednesday evening 6 PM. Our club monthly social gathering at The Hound’s Tale. Their new location is at 5234 Monticello Ave.
June 5th. End Polio Now Baseball Game. Richmond Flying Squirrels.
June 5th. Friday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast.
June 10th. End Polio Now Baseball Game. Tri-City Chili Peppers.
June 10th, 6:30 PM. Evening group meeting at Riverside Hospital Conference Room.
June 19th. Friday at 7 AM. Morning group meeting at Kingmill River’s Edge buffet breakfast.
June 24th, Wednesday evening 6 PM. Our club monthly social gathering at The Hound’s Tale. Their new location is at 5234 Monticello Ave.
Rotary International Convention in Taipei Taiwan, June 13-17 2026.
September 15th. James City County Rotary Club golf tournament at the Kingsmill River Course. Fundraiser for our own club!
October 22 - 25 Rotary Areas 33/34 Summit, Rotary Revolution at The Lodge at Colonial Williamsburg. All three area clubs are requested to help with this event.
